Hello! I am a UX researcher at Amazon based in Maryland.

My work has spanned several fields. I spent my early career post-Peace Corps in anti-corruption and governance, working at an affiliate of the Chamber of Commerce. There I designed and monitored programming in Russia and Ukraine to  improve the policy climate and support the development of small- and medium-sized businesses. While working, I studied business administration and economics at Georgetown to support my work as I moved from program reporting to program design. I became a designer in 2016 and began working with high profile clients, including the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. General Services Administration, the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, the United Way, and  the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, among others.

Today, I am focused on the dynamics of organizational development and change management. I have returned to my political, economic, sociological roots as an academic and brought that work into design. I think of my work as society-first; I am focused on understanding people — where we came from and who we are today, to ensure we build systems that support equitable futures.

I hold a Masters in Social Research from European University at St. Petersburg, Russia, and a B.A. in Global Media/English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
